Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 173–Petitioner is seeking the direction to furnish the copies of challan/charge-sheet along with the other documents in the public domain or on the website of State Govt.–Such direction will be contrary to the scheme of Cr.P.C. and it may as such violate the rights of accused as well as the victim and/or even the investigation agency–Further, the charge-sheet/documents along with the charge-sheet cannot be said to be public documents u/s. 74 of Evidence Act–Furthermore, these do not fall within the ambit of Sec. 4(1)(b) of RTI Act–Plea is misplaced and deserves to be rejected.
