Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 157–Scope–Delay in forwarding FIR to the Magistrate would not be fatal if investigation is commenced promptly–It is the extra ordinary and unexplained delay which may rise doubts relating the authenticity of the FIR.
