Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005–Sec. 12–Remedy provided under the Sec. covers the act of violence committed even prior to coming into force of the Act and subsistence of marriage or domestic relationship is not a condition precedent for an aggrieved person to invoke the protection orders and other reliefs.
