Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 498-A–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 177 to 179–Jurisdiction to try the case–Courts at the place where the wife takes the shelter after leaving or driven away from the matrimonial home on account of acts of cruelty committed by the husband or his relatives, would, depend on factual situation, also have jurisdiction to entertain a complaint alleging commission of the offence u/s. 498-A of the Indian Penal Code.
