Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005–Secs. 2(a) & 12–Maintainability of complaint was challenged on the ground that both the parties are not Indian residents–Dismissal of application–Respondent no. 2 is a resident of Jodhpur for the last about 25 years and the incident was also reported to take place in Jodhpur–Otherwise, also Article 21 extends the benefit only to every citizen of this country but also to a person who may not be a citizen of the country–Interference declined.
