Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 24, 225 & 301–Scope–Situation where the public prosecutor fails to highlight some issues of important despite it having been suggested by the victim’s counsel–Limited right of victim’s counsel may extend to suggesting questions to the Court or the prosecution but not putting them by himself–If the judge finds merits in them, he may take action accordingly by invoking his powers u/s. 311, Cr.P.C. or Sec. 165 of Evidence Act.
