Constitution of India, 1950–Art. 226–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 36 & 154(3)–Scope of filing habeas corpus–Simply because a person has a grievance that his FIR has not been registered by the Police, or after being registered, the proper investigation has not been done, the remedy lies u/ss. 36 & 154(3) Cr.P.C. before the concerned police officer, and if that is of no avail, then u/s. 156(3) Cr.PC before the Magistrate.
