Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 167(2) & 173(2)–Sec. 167(2) requires that the complete investigation report in term of Secs. 173(2) must be filed within prescribed period before the concerned Court but does not preclude further investigation in respect of a offence after a report u/s. 173(2) has been forwarded to the Court.
