Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Secs. 7 & 13(2)–Conviction–Considering all the aspects of the case, the Trial Court as well as High Court has committed no error in holding the appellant guilty for the offence–However, the appellant was aged of 40 years at the time of offence in question and now, he is 75 years of age–He surrendered after the order of the High Court and remained behind the bars for the peirod of 2 months and 24 days– Sentence u/s. 13(2) is reduced up to the period of one year R.I.
