Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005–Sec. 12–Interim compensation of Rs. 40,000/- per month in favour of wife–As per ITR of the year 2020-21, annual income of the petitioner-husband was lowered up to Rs. 4,00,000/- –The ITRs are generally required to be looked into in maintenance proceedings to ensure a fair determination of income of husband–In the present case, the possibility of change in financial cirsumstances of the petitioner-husband during and after Covid-19 Pandemic cannot be totally ruled out as the business and job avenues throughout the world were heavily impacted by the said Pandemic–Amount is reduced up to Rs. 30,000/- per month.
