Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 482 [Corresponding Sec. 528 of BNSS, 2023]–Whether the order of quashment of proceedings can be recalled by the High Court ?–Held, no–Once the criminal case had been quashed u/s. 482 on the ground of compromise entered into between the parties, one of the parties violating terms thereof is a ground entirely foreign to law, to once again invoke such powers and recall the order of quashing–Violation of a term of a compromise has their own avenues of law from which they can be enforced.
