Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Sec. 151–Scope–There is no specific provision under the Code for consolidation of the suits, however, the same can be done in exercise of powers u/s. 151–The main purpose of consolidation is to save costs, time, and effort and to make a conduct of several legal actions more convenient by treating them as one cause.
