Industrial Disputes Act, 1947–Sec. 25-F–Industrial Tribunal declared the termination of applicant to be in violation of Sec. 25F and awarded the lump sum compensation of Rs. three lakh–Sustainability–Applicant was appointed under the “Community Polytechnic Scheme” floated by the Human Resources Development–Scheme was closed w.e.f. 30.07.2007 and it was directed to wind up all the ongoing activities under the Scheme–Petitioner was not appointed under any written appointment letter nor there was any agreement between the parties–Labour Court committed error in answering the reference in favour of the applicant only on the premise that he was not made aware that he was appointed under the Scheme–When the project comes to a close, the employees working under the project will not get any vested right and their services would come to an end–Award is liable to be quashed and set aside.
