National Investigation Agency Act, 2008–Sec.6(6)–Offences under unlawful Activities Act were added subseqently–Direction of Central Govt. to NIA to investigate the matter–Whether re-registration of FIR is a second FIR and is not permissible?–Held, re-registration of FIR cannot be held to be second FIR of the offence–It was only procedural act to initiate the investigation and trial under NIA Act–Further, the supplementary charge sheet submitted by NIA was also not beyond it’s jurisdiction.
