Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 482 & 397–Scope–Whether the availability of the alternative remedy of criminal revision u/s. 397 by itself would be a good ground for dismissing the petition u/s. 482 as not maintainable ?–Held, no–Since, Sec. 397 is attracted against all orders other than interlocutory, a contrary view would limit the availability of inherent power u/s. 482 only to petty interlocutory order which would create an unwarranted and undesirable situation.
