Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 154 & 482–Investigation of criminal case and reliability of FIR–First two Investigation Officers proposed the negative final report–The S.P. kept on changing the Investigation Officers one after another for no good reasons whatsoever–When the ocular evidence has already come in negative form, the investigation is diverted to collect circumstantial and corroborative evidence–Registration of FIR for the offence u/s. 307 without any life-threatening injury clearly reflects the intention of the complainant and police–Even, a dead person was named as accused–First negative final report shows that the FIR was lodged due to dispute between the parties as regard to demarcation of boundary, possession, and ownership of land–Criminal complaint has been filed with the intention to take the revenge in the dispute of civil nature–FIR quashed.
