Constitution of India, 1950–Art. 20(2)–Double jeopardy–If the act committed is an offence under two enactments, there is nothing barring for proceedings against them under two enactments, but they cannot be sentenced for the same separately–If they are distinct and different offence, then there is no bar for imposing separate sentence, as it will not amount to double jeopardy.
