Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996–Rules 140 & 157–Cancellation of patta–Appreciation of–Fact of partition by competent Court in regard to disputed land was not brought before the panchayat before issuance of patta– Respondent nos. 4 & 5 were directly affected by issuance of patta, however, they were not granted the opportunity of hearing–Held, revisional Court rightly cancelled the patta and issued the direction to gram panchayat for fresh consideration in accordance with Rules.
