Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 31–Sentence in cases of conviction of several offences at one trial–Court may pass separate sentences for two or more offences of which the accused is found guilty, but the aggregate punishment must not exceed the limit fixed in the proviso (a) and (b) of subsection 31(2).
