Prevention of Corruption Act, 1985–Sec. 17A–FIR–Quashment–Investigation Officer is proceeding to investigate the matter against the public servants for the offence under PC Act without prior approval of the Government–Sec. 17A prohibits conducting of enquiry or investigation into any offence under the Act alleged to have been committed by a public servant where the act alleged is relatable to any recommendation made or any decision taken by a public servant in discharge of official functions or duties–FIR deserves to be quashed.
