Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Secs. 7, 13(1)(d) & 13(2)–Scope–Demand and acceptance of the amount as illegal gratification is the sine qua non for constitution of the offence–It is obligatory on part of the prosecution to establish that there was an illegal offer of bribe and acceptance thereof.
