Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Secs. 8, 10, 13(1)(d) & 13(2)–Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 120-B–Mere existence of call details implying that the petitioner had some conversations with the person who is an accused, cannot be made the basis to implicate a person as an accused, until and unless, there is some substantial material including distinct conversations which would establish connectivity of the petitioner with the alleged offence–Further, the alleged act was neither in the jurisdiction of petitioner nor he was assigned any job in regard to the act of lottery for allotment of the residential houses–Impugned order of taking cognizance against the petitioner is liable to be quashed.
