Electricity Act, 2003–Sec. 135–Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987–Secs. 19(5) & 22-C(8)–Award by Lok Adalat in favour of the respondent–Sustainability–Meter installed in the house of respondent was found tampered with and the seals were found broken–Act of the respondent tantamounts to offence u/s. 135 of the Act–Matter was beyond the jurisdiction of the Permanent Lok Adalat–Impugned award deserves to be quashed.
