Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 149–Essential ingredients of offence:-
1) offence should be committed by any member of an unlawful assembly consisting of five or more members, and
2) such offence must be committed in prosecution of the common object of the assembly or members of that assembly knew to be likely to be committed in prosecution of thecommon object.
