Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 326, 341 & 323–Conviction–Reduction of the sentence–Incident relates back to the year 1988–Petitioner suffered the agony and trauma of protracted trial–He remained behind bars for some time–It would be just and proper to affirm the conviction and reduce the sentence up to the period of already undergone–Directed accordingly.
