Rajasthan Colonisation (Allotment and Sale of Government Land in Indira Gandhi Canal Colony Area) Rules, 1975–Rule 22(3)–Cancellation of allotment–Petitioner is the purchaser of the land from the original allottee–His plea that no notice was issued to him–Allotment was procured by misrepresentation, concealment of material facts and fraudulent procurements of dual ration cards, job cards and voter entries–Competent Authority rightly left the original allotment to be void ab initio, void and consequently all subsequent proceedings–Issuance of khatedari sanad, mutation entries, the registered sale deed executed in favour of the petitioner and mortgage entries automatically stood vitiated–Petitioner’s plea of violation of natural justice is also devoid of merits–Mere possession, payment of water charges or reliance upon derivative title cannot create legitimacy for a transaction grounded in a void allotment–No case is made out for interference.
