Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989–Sec. 3(1)(x) & 3(1)(e)–Property dispute between the parties–Allegations are not on account of the victim being of a scheduled caste–Finding that the appellant was aware of the caste of the informant is wholly inconsequential as the knowledge does not bar any person to protect his rights by way a procedure established by law.
