Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002–Secs. 19 & 45–Arrest and remand of accused–The explanation appended to Sec. 45 unequivocally designates the officer authorized to arrest an accused after the fulfillment of conditions enshirned in Sec. 19–Provisions of Sec. 71 give the overriding effect over the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure–Sec. 41A of the Cr.P.C. does not apply to arrest made u/s. 19 of the Act.
