Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 376 & 323–Prayer to reduce the sentence with the contention that the appellant has suffered the sentence more than eight years and inherent weakness is found in the investigation–Prosecution failed to produce the best evidence to prove the case–Though benefit can not be granted to appellant on these basis, however, looking to the facts that the the appellant is the sole earner of his family and provisions of law existing in year 2010 would be applicable, sentence of life imprisonment is reduced up to the period of ten years.
