Jurisprudence–When a petition becomes infructuous?–Held, a petition becomes infructuous in either of the following two conditions:-
(i) If the relief prayed for from the Court has already been granted and grievance of petitioner no longer exists, or
(ii) If the circumstances have changed to such an extent that the relief prayed for can no longer be granted by the Court.
