Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 173(8)–Scope for granting the permission for further investigation–When the Court permits further investigation pursuant to a request made by the police or Investigation Officer, it has to satisfy itself with the existence of fresh evidence/material or need for further investigation–But no in case, the Court is required to pass a detailed order setting out reasons for the same, particularly when the Magistrate proposes to allow an application filed by the Investigation Officer/Agency.
