Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 302, 307 & 448–Conviction–Though the recovery of sword is not reliable, yet the testimony of eye witnesses PW 7 & 8 is found convincing and does not require any corroboration–Nothing significant could be elicited in their lengthy cross-examination–Injuries sustained by the accused were explained–Further, these were trivial–Appellant did not deny his presence at the place of incident and rather stated that he was beaten by the members of complainant party–Prosecution proved the case beyond all manners of doubt–Interference declined.
