Rajasthan Prisoners (Release on Parole) Rules, 1958–Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967–Scope for granting the benefit of parole under the provision–Rules exclude the applicability to the persons who are sentenced for an offence against any law relating to any matter to which executive powers to Union of India extends–Merely because the State Police has investigated the matter, would not bring the case of petitioner within the perview of these Rules–Held, application was not maintainable before the Parole Advisory Committee–However, it was required to be referred to UOI.
