Criminal Trial–Charge-sheet in absence of accused–Functions of trial Court–Held, concerned Court in to see whether or not the police has given notice to the accused before filing of the charge-sheet and if notice has not
been given, then either direction should be given to the investigation officer to give a notice to the accused about the date, on which the charge sheet is being filed before the Court concerned or the Court itself should issue notice/
summon to such accused so that the accused may be put to notice about the date on which he is to appear before the Court–The procedure of forfeiture of bail bonds shall be resorted to if the accused does not appear on the date
fixed despite service of notice.
