Jurisprudence–Public hearing by the Rajasthan Pollution Control Board for the purpose of environmental clearance was held at a place nearby two cement units –Under challenge–Plea of the petitioner that the public hearing should have been conducted in the near vicinity of two sites–Distance of place of public hearing from the mines is not much more–Respondents keeping in mind the suitable place, kept a common public place of public hearing for the two projects but at different times–Since the geographic location of the place of hearing was in close proximity of both the places, therefore, the respondents thought it proper to hold the meeting at this place but at different timing–Villagers of both villages participated in the hearing and more particularly when the petitioner also attended/participated in the public hearing, he cannot agitate the cause for a public hearing at different place–Interference declined.
