Penal Code, 1860–Sec. 304-B–Evidence Act, 1872–Sec. 113B–Scope–Before the presumption is raised, it must be established that the woman was subjected by such person to cruelty or harassment and it is not any cruelty that becomes the subject matter of the provisions but it is the cruelty or harrassment for or in connection with demand of dowry.
