Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 228–Framing of charge–Relevant material–Apart from the material that is placed before the Court by the prosecution in the shape of the final report in terms of Sec. 173, the Court may also rely upon any other evidence or material that is of sterling quality and has the direct bearing on the charge laid before it by the prosecution.
