Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023–Sec. 106 [ Corresponding Sec. 102 of Cr.P.C., 1973]–Freezing of bank account during the investigation–A certain amount is disputed and the same has been kept on hold but due to the blanket order to frozen the account, the respondent-banks have freezed the accounts entirety–Petitioners are unable to operate their accounts and deal with the money lying therein–Under the guise of investigation, order of freezing the entire account without quantifying the amount and period cannot be passed–Directed to de-freeze the accounts and keep a lien over the disputed amount.
