Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic (Prohibition of Sex Selection Techniques Act, 1994)–Sec. 29(2)–Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 451–Direction to remove the seal of the sonography machine during the pendency of the appeal against the order of acquittal–Under challenge–There is nothing on record to show that there is any prescription of a period specified by way of any Notification issued either by the Government or by the Competent Authority u/s. 29(2)–Now, the respondent has been acquitted in appeal–The machine was sealed in the year 2009, and it is kept in the same situation–No justified reason has come forwarded from the appellant to keep the machine in a sealed condition for an indefinite period–No interference is required in the impugned order.
