Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996–Sec. 11(8)–Two legal aspects for appointing the arbitrator-
(i) qualification required of the arbitrator by the agreement of the parties, and
(ii) other consideration as are likely to secure the appointment of an independent and impartial arbitrator, Appointment of the arbitrator or arbitrators named in the arbitration agreement is not a must, but while making the arbitration the twin requirements have to be kept in view.
