Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988–Secs. 13(1)(d)–Scope–Dishonest intention is the gist of the offence u/s. 13(1)(d)–If in the process, the rules and norms applicable were violated or the decision taken shows an extravagant display of redundancey, it will be improper conduct–However, it cannot be said that the same was actuated by a dishonest intention to obtain an undue pecuniary advantage.
