Rajasthan Tenancy (Government) Rules, 1955–Rule 7–478 bigas of land categorized as charagah land was set apart for expansion of Abadi Area of U.I.T.–Simultaneously, equal chunk of land was set apart for charagah–Order was passed after approval of State Govt.–Order is under challenge–Requirement of consultation with the Gram Panchayat is directory–Need of acquiring the additional lands for the expansion of abadi area in view of the increase of population–District Collector has diligently taken care to ensure that the equivalent chunk of land is allotted for offsetting the loss caused to the charagah of land–No case is made out for interference.
