Criminal Trial–Witness–When can be prayed to declare him as hostile ?–Held, when a witness deposes contrary to the stand of the prosecution and his own statements recorded u/s. 161, the prosecutor, with the permission of the Court, can pray to the Court for declaring him hostile and for granting leave to cross-examine him.
