Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 154–FIR–Reliability–Police reached the spot of incident, and took the injured to hospital where he died–Thereafter, the inquest report was prepared and post-mortem was conducted–None of eye-witnesses came forward to submit the written report or disclose the names of assailants–No FIR was lodged till cremation of body–Informant admitted that all the family members sat together to decide about the institution of FIR–False implication after deliberation cannot be ruled out considering the old and continuing enmity between the parties.
