Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 420/406–FIR for the offence–Sustainability–Franchisee agreement between the parties–Certain letters were written by company as regard to breach committed by franchisee and, thereafter, the matter was referred to arbitrator–Earlier, the FIR was lodged by the wife of complainant who was a partner in franchisee firm–When the negative final report was submitted, complainant filed this subsequent FIR by raising additional grounds–Complainant has no locus standi as he is neither the partner of firm nor he is controlling the business of franchisee firm–Dispute is of civil nature–FIR is liable to be quashed.
