Specific Relief Act, 1963–Sec. 6–Nature of the provision–The remedy u/s. 6 is possessary and summary in nature, intended to restore the status quo ante where the possession has been unlawfully disturbed–The Court while adjudicating such claim, is not required to examine the title but merely whether the plaintiff was in possession and whether such possession was interfered with or taken away otherwise than in accordance with law.
