Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881–Sec. 138–Amendment in complaint–Order of allowing–Set aside by the High Court–Justification–Amendment was sought before the stage of cross-examination of complainant–The amendment made is also only with regard to the produce supplied–The error which occurred in the legal notice was carried in the complaint–No prejudice would be caused to the accused-respondents–It was a curable irregularity which the Trial Court rightly addresed by allowing the amendment–Impugned judgment passed by the High Court is set aside.
