Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005–Sec. 19–Scope–Magistrate is empowered not only to pass the restrain order against the dispossession of the aggrieved person, or disturbing her possession from the shared household, but may also pass the order of restraing the respondent from alienating or disposing of the shared household or encumbering it.
