Family Courts Act, 1984–Sec. 7–Suit for declaration upto the effect that the respondent is not legally married wife–Decreed by Family Court–Order set aside by High Court on the ground of lack of jurisdiction of Family Court in such type of suit–Dispute was in regard to matrimonial status–It makes
no difference as to whether it is an affirmative relief or a negative relief–What is important is that the declaration is in regard to matrimonial status–Further, the Act has overriding effect over the other laws–View of High Court cannot be held correct.
