Hindu Marriage Act, 1955–Secs. 13 & 13B–Dismissal of divorce petition–During the pendency of the instant appeal, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and prayed that the present appeal may be converted into a petition u/s. 13B–There is an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage–Demand draft of amount of Rs. 28,00,000/- has been handed over to the counsel of the respondent-wife–On the basis of mutual consent, the decree of divorce deserves to be granted.
